Porter Services power washing in Chicago by Grime Pushers
What we do

The job, done right.

Porter service — often called day porter service — is having a crew check on your property on a set schedule and keep it clean and presentable between deep cleans. We walk the property, pick up litter and debris, empty and reset trash and recycling areas, clear entrances and common areas, and handle the small commercial property maintenance that makes a property look cared-for instead of neglected — every single visit. It's the difference between a property that gets cleaned once in a while and one that always looks managed.

Our commercial porter services are built for property managers, HOAs, retail centers and multi-tenant buildings that can't afford litter, overflowing bins or a dirty entrance greeting tenants and customers. We build a property maintenance checklist around your site — what to police, how often, and what to flag — then run it on a daily, weekly or custom cadence. And because the same crew already power washes and cleans windows, a porter route can fold those in too, so one team keeps the whole Chicago property sharp on one schedule and one invoice.

Grime Pushers provides professional porter services and pressure washing for commercial properties across Chicago and the surrounding suburbs — all 77 neighborhoods, from the Loop to Beverly.

FAQ

Porter Services questions.

What is a day porter service?

A day porter (or porter) service is a crew that checks on your property on a set schedule and keeps it clean and presentable — picking up litter and debris, emptying and resetting trash and recycling areas, clearing entrances and common areas, spot-cleaning messes, and flagging anything that needs attention. It keeps a commercial property looking cared-for every day, not just on deep-clean day.

How often do you come out?

Whatever fits the property. High-traffic retail and multi-tenant buildings often do daily or several times a week; quieter properties do weekly or a custom schedule. We'll recommend a cadence after we walk the property and see the traffic it gets.

Do you handle trash and debris removal?

Yes — policing litter and debris and keeping trash and recycling areas emptied and reset is the core of porter service. We keep the grounds, entrances and bin areas clear so the property never looks neglected. Bulk hauling or hazardous disposal beyond normal upkeep we'll scope separately.

Do you report problems you find on the property?

Yes. Part of every visit is a set of eyes on the property — we flag damage, safety hazards, graffiti, broken fixtures, leaks or anything that needs a repair, so small problems get caught before they turn into big ones.

Can porter service include power washing and window cleaning?

It can. Since the same crew handles power washing and window cleaning, we can build periodic deep cleans and glass into a porter route — one team, one point of contact, one invoice keeping your whole property presentable inside the same schedule.

How is day porter service different from a one-time wash?

A wash is a deep reset; day porter service is the steady upkeep between resets. Many properties pair a recurring wash route with lighter porter visits so the property looks sharp all the time, not just right after a cleaning.

Can you build a custom porter scope?

Yes. Tell us what 'presentable' means for your property — what to police, how often, and what to flag — and we'll build the property maintenance checklist and cadence around it.
